Moroccan weddings often unfold over many hours, so elegance and comfort belong together. A takchita is a classic choice for the principal evening, while a richly finished caftan works beautifully for both formal and smaller celebrations.

Avoid a bridal all-white look unless the family has invited it. Jewel tones, deep green, blue, fig and soft sage photograph well and remain timeless. Let the garment lead: choose restrained jewellery when embroidery is elaborate, and add a statement earring or mdamma when the caftan is simpler.
